Printla Legal & Info

Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 September 2026. These terms apply to purchases from Printla at printla.co.uk. Our contact address is Unit 4 Movements House, Ajax Works, Hertford Road, Barking, England, IG11 8DY. Email support@printla.co.uk or call +44 7459 540869.

1. Consumers and business customers

You are a consumer when you are an individual buying mainly for personal use rather than for a trade or profession. Some legal rights differ for consumers and business customers. Nothing in these terms removes a consumer right that the law does not allow us to exclude.

2. Products, quotes and orders

Product descriptions, garment colours and previews are provided as accurately as reasonably possible, but screen colours, measurements, packaging and decoration placement can vary slightly. Measurements are guides and you are responsible for checking the selected garment and size before approving a personalised order. A website order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send an order-confirmation email after payment, subject to product availability, lawful artwork and any proof approval we require. We assign an order reference which should be quoted when contacting us. If we cannot accept or fulfil an order, we will explain why and refund any payment due.

3. Changes, availability and substitutions

Contact us immediately if you want to change or cancel an order. We will confirm whether the change is possible and any effect on price or timing. Once personalised production has started, a change or cancellation may not be possible. If a selected product becomes unavailable, we will not substitute a materially different garment without contacting you for agreement.

4. Prices and payment

The final checkout total includes VAT where applicable. Any delivery charge is shown before payment. We may correct an obvious pricing or description error before accepting an order; we will not charge a corrected price without your agreement. Online payments are processed by Stripe and Printla does not receive your full card number.

5. Artwork, proofs and customer responsibility

New artwork will be checked and a digital proof may be sent for approval before production. Production timing starts after any required proof is approved. You must check names, numbers, spelling, colours, sizes, artwork quality and placement carefully. Once you approve a proof, we may rely on that approval; an error clearly shown in an approved proof is not treated as a Printla production error. If supplied artwork is low resolution or otherwise unsuitable, we may ask for a replacement or your approval to proceed with the available quality.

You confirm that you own or have permission to use all submitted artwork, trade marks, photographs, names and text, and you give Printla a limited permission to reproduce them only as needed to quote, proof and fulfil the order. We may refuse content that appears unlawful, harmful or infringing. See our Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Delivery

Any delivery estimate is an estimate unless we expressly agree a guaranteed date. We aim to deliver within the period stated at checkout and, for consumer orders, no later than 30 days unless another period is agreed. Please provide a complete delivery address and tell us promptly about any delivery problem.

7. Cancellation and returns

Consumers normally have 14 days after receiving standard, non-personalised goods to cancel, followed by 14 days to return them. Items should be unworn, handled only as reasonably necessary to inspect them, with labels and original packaging where possible. The ordinary change-of-mind cancellation right does not apply to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised, including printed or embroidered items. This exception does not affect your rights if goods are faulty, not as described or supplied incorrectly. Full instructions are in our Returns and Cancellation Policy.

8. Faulty or incorrect goods

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights. Contact us promptly with the order reference and clear photographs. Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, the remedy may be repair, replacement, repeat performance, price reduction or refund.

9. Accounts and website use

You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for information submitted through your account. Do not misuse, attack, scrape or interfere with the website. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention or unlawful use.

10. Events outside reasonable control

We are not responsible for delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, but we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and take reasonable steps to reduce the effect. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

11. Liability

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of rights that cannot legally be excluded. We are not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate customer-supplied information, unapproved rights in customer artwork, or events outside our reasonable control, except where the law says otherwise.

12. Complaints, severability and law

Please send complaints to support@printla.co.uk. If a court finds one part of these terms invalid, the remaining parts continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of that right. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, but consumers keep any mandatory protections and court rights provided by the country in which they live.
